Posición: Au-pair para familia en Acton

Hi! We are a young, happy family. Living in Acton, West London. We have 2 children- a boy who is just about to turn 3 and a new baby girl (5 weeks old)

Acton is a great part of London, there are lots of families with young children in the area. Minutes away from our house is a big park with a children’s play area, shops and a train station (Acton Central). It takes around 30 mins on the (tube) to get into central London door to door . There are language schools nearby.

We are looking for an Au Pair/ mothers help to look after our son – this will include playing, taking and picking up from nursery, cooking his meals, bath time and keeping his room tidy. With regard to our daughter, as she is so small, the help required will only be occasional cuddles, feeding and walking her in the buggy (enroute to nursery with our son).

In terms of ‘Mothers help’ element We need someone who is happy to help keep a clean and tidy house, washing children’s clothes (not parents clothes), an hour of ironing a week, running vacuum around etc, clean children’s bathroom.

You will have your own double bedroom with ensuite, We will also provide WIFI and travel costs if travelling with the children. We do have a family car – but would not require you to drive.

We will pay £80 a week for 25 hours week and £95 for a 30 hour week and pay extra for additional hours if they are agreeable to both parties. We expect 2 x nights babysitting included in this (but at the moment are not going out very much as the baby is so small).

We are looking for someone who is happy to fit in with our busy life and be part of our family, someone who will care for our fun little boy and keep up with him! We are open, outgoing straightforward people. We hope that we can welcome you into our life and ensure you feel welcome and comfortable.

Flexibility is key – Hours will differ dependant on term time/ Nursery holidays, however we are happy to plan the weeks in advance.

*You are a self starter and LOOK for things to do.
*You have previous childcare experience and immaculate references, and can legally work in the EU.
*You are sensible and responsible for the safety and well being of the children at all times. For example, you know -how- to keep children close when on their scooters.
*You have an innate love of children, like to get down on the floor and play, are creative and engaging, and do not use the TV as a babysitter.
*You have a good of English
*You are happy to go outside in all weather — wet, dry, hot, cold. You should not mind getting dirty/sandy and dress appropriately.
*You are a mature and upfront person who can handle any conflict in a calm and professional manner without drama.
*You are a well balanced person, not staying home too much and not partying every night.
*You are a calm personality in the eye of a storm, never shouting at the children, ever.
*You help in emergency situations. E.g nursery closed, sickness in family.
*You are organized and tidy.
*You respect our privacy as we will respect yours
*You do not smoke
*You are loving, kind, and are a true role model
*This is not your first job, you value and place importance on your work, and are considered hardworking by previous employers or family.
