Julius Rutherfoord is a privately owned and successful business which operates in the soft FM sector within the London and M25 area. The company has achieved consistent year-on-year growth and is ambitious in its approach to delivering “Fresh thinking in cleaningTM”. The company operates from a large converted Victorian Tram shed in Battersea, with a head office team comprising of 60 talented and enthusiastic people. The business employs a further 2,000 operatives in the field. Julius Rutherfoord has exciting growth plans for the next 5 years and this role will play a key part in ensuring its continued expansion and success.
We are a customer-focussed company that believes in providing a very high quality professional service to our clients and we need a highly organised individual who is interested in working with us to provide this. We see your role as part of the team, with the office, General Managers and Area Managers.
Hours of Work: Early morning and early evening shifts. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary is £17,000 – £19,000K depending on experience and you may have the opportunity to enter our bonus scheme.
Company vehicle, and company mobile phone will be issued in order to satisfactorily undertake your duties. Drivers licence is required.
You will carry out site audits using a programme on a PDA and according to a weekly schedule. This will be done on a rotational basis and will be weighted by contract size. The audit will include a complete check of standards, H&S issues, risk assessments, and details of cleaning operatives.
You will monitor, evaluate and review Health and Safety policy and practice, making recommendations and implement new policies and procedures as required.
You will provide a rotational Induction Training to newcomers in either Spanish or Portuguese.
Qualifications, Experience and Technical Knowledge:
1. Previous experience with auditing
2. Previous experience & knowledge of health and safety
3. Experience of conducting quality audits out on site
4. Full drivers licence is required

1. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
2. Ability to engage and build rapport with members of staff at all levels
3. Ability to organise and meet deadlines in production of reports
4. Good attention to detail
5. Good IT skills
6. Presenting skills
7. Ability to problem-solve situations
8. Ability to follow procedures
9. Fluent in either Spanish or Portuguese
