We are looking for a live-in au pair (preferably Spanish speaking) to come and join our loving household in London’s Shepherds Bush. We have 2 children, a boy of 5 and a girl of 8 who both attend full time school.

We are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and who is naturally organized and tidy. You will be flexible, pro-active, mature and independent and be ready to help around the house. Duties will include: taking our children to and from school/activities, supervise homework, reading, interactive indoor/outdoor play, organising playdates, preparation of basic meals and preparing the children for bed. You will also be expected to carry out some basic housework; looking after the laundry, ironing, unloading/loading dishwasher, tiding up after kids mealtimes, tiding the playroom and kids rooms and kids areas, and keeping common areas tidy at all times. We have a cleaner who will be looking after other duties.

You will be working a 30 hour week from Monday to Friday. The job will include on average 2 evenings a week babysitting (can include Fri/Sat) and you will need to commit to a minimum of 1 year. You will get paid holiday (17 December – 3rd January), half term (11th February – 19th February and a period over Easter. You will be prepared to come on holiday with with us and occasionally work additional hours and weekends for extra salary. Accommodation: you will have your own bedroom and bathroom, board is included, and we have wifi and netflix. We want the applicant to be part of our warm and caring environment. We live in West London and are a short walk from the underground, trains and buses. We also have a cat. The applicant needs to have a passport of an EU member country or a permit to work in the EU.
