British family based in central London, looking for a permanent part-time nanny-housekeeper or special needs nanny (OT and SLT experience) to start ASAP to help look after two children, 6 months and 4 years.

You need to have previously looked after 2 children at the same time and you must also have experience with young babies of 6 months or less as well as toddlers of 2 years or more. You must have at least 2 years’ experience and be a non-smoker.

Monday to Friday, 1pm to 7pm although this can be flexible. There will be both shared and sole care work depending on the days. Occasional babysitting in evenings or weekends.

You must speak very good English, we are looking for either an English speaker or Spanish speaker with very good English.

Duties include picking up from nursery, playing indoors and outdoors, entertaining the children, cutting, painting, reading stories, giving love and support, cooking children’s meals, and ideally teaching Spanish.

You should be a very active person with lots of energy, happy to run around outdoors, run alongside scooter, play football, tennis, etc. You also need to be reliable, very calm and flexible. You must be happy to take clear instructions relating to childcare and happy to mix in with the family, helping out where needed.

Ideally, you will be first aid trained and CRB checked.

Housekeeping duties include doing children’s laundry, ironing, preparing & cooking meals, clearing up, doing dishes, tidying up toys, changing bedsheets, tidying bedrooms.

You will need to specify language skills, special needs skills, availability, notice required, CV, contacts for at least two references and covering letter.
