Argentinian / Latin American / spanish speaking nanny needed in west Hampstead NW6 – part time

We are a friendly and busy family in West Hampstead with a 2 year old child looking for a nanny / housekeeper / mother’s help

This is a part time but permanent position with an immediate start.

The core hours for this position are as follows: (times can be variable and flexibility is a recquirement)

Monday – Tuesdays 7:30 am – 2:30 p.m. (14 hours) – this is variable due to work commitments

Wednesday to Friday’s 16:30 to 20:30 hs ( 12 hs)

Additional hours for baby sitting mainly on weekends

Total hours: 25 per week approx

Duties and responsibilities include:

– Looking after the child, from getting him ready for nursery , breakfasting, dinnertime, bathing, playing and taking him for outings . Once per week doing the nursery drop offs and daily pick ups 3 times per week and taking him for extra curricular clubs etc.

– Preparing suitable meals for the child along with completing food prep for us (chopping veg, meat etc.), possibly some cooking as and when required.

– To complete all aspects of housekeeping, from tidying and cleaning to laundry, including, washing, drying, ironing etc. changing the bed linen as required.

– Generally assisting in the running of the household, including emptying and loading the dishwasher, receiving deliveries (food deliveries, couriers etc), running errands such as buying food from the local shop , etc.

You should:

Speak Spanish

Be living in London , preferably close to west Hampstead , NW6

Have previous housekeeping and/or childcare experience with checkable references.

Hold a current DBS or be willing to undertake one.

Be trustworthy, reliable, patient and enjoy being around children and have an interest in playing with them to foster their development and have fun!

Be happy to undertake cleaning and tidying duties.

Be an energetic, cheerful person who is organised and proactive and is interested in not simply being a ‘nanny housekeeper’ but someone who loves being part of the family
