DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PUESTO:

Friendly family based in Teddington, SW London are looking for a live-in au pair to help with little girl aged 2 ½ years. We need you to work Monday – Friday, around 30 hours per week, actual hours to be agreed. Weekends free, except for occasional evening babysit arranged with you in advance. Start date December but we anticipate you will want time off at Christmas.

Your duties will involve planning a mix of age appropriate activities, local nursery runs every afternoon and some light housework/laundry. Ideally you will also be a keen cook and willing to help with family meals. We don’t need a driver, but non-smoker with checkable references, good English and previous childcare experience essential. Please note we may also require you to complete a DBS (police check).

We are particularly interested to hear from native Spanish speakers who are already in the UK and able to attend a face to face interview. Someone musical and/or sporty an advantage.

In return we offer your own bedroom/ bathroom shared with child, all meals/utility bills plus pocket money in a pleasant family home just outside London. We are close to buses and trains (35 mins train to London Waterloo) and there are several good language schools nearby. We are very much looking for someone to become part of the family and hope you will stay at least 12 months if all went well.
